This is a mixed-use complex comprising a daycare center and a senior care facility located in a residential neighborhood in Tokyo.
To harmonize with the scale of the surrounding streetscape, the building’s mass was segmented and covered with roofs of varying sizes.
A large lawn and a garden featuring a variety of trees were created on the south side of the building, designed to foster interaction between the daycare center and the senior care facility.
